“Au coin des figuiers” is hidden away in the heart of the vineyards of Provence, between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. This authentic 18th century Provençal mas-style house, located on the Route des Côtes du Rhône, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux, is the perfect place to discover living, Provençal style, as a couple or with your family.
Aude and François have lovingly restored this typical mas in the Provençal style to turn it into an intimate guesthouse. Aude, a decorator by profession, and François, a designer with a passion for renovation, have furnished three spacious and comfortable rooms to create a harmonious mixing of ancient and modern.
Ideally located near the towns of Orange, Carpentras, Beaumes de Venise, Vaison-la-Romaine, and not far from Avignon or Isle sur la Sorgue, “Au coin des Figuiers” encourages you to reach out and discover the natural, sunny landscape of Provence, taking in its vineyards and cellars.
The geographical location of “Au coin des figuiers” favours cyclists or walkers, with the “via Vénaissia”, a restored railway for those who prefer their travel a little more sedate, right on our doorstep, or even the Canal de Carpentras, intended for agricultural irrigation, with its shaded banks enticing you to walk along them. On site, you can benefit from secure cycle storage for your own bikes or you can hire one from any one of our partners and, if you wish, we can pack you up a picnic before you leave.
When you get back, relax on a deckchair by the pool or take a break in the shade of one of Provence’s famous, old plane trees!
